At the office of Dr. Jordan-Knox
we have 10 highly trained team members to serve you. Collectively
they have more than 130 years of experience in dentistry, and
several have been with me for more than 20 years. Our goal is to
provide a level of personalized service that is second to none, and
according to our patients we succeed most of the time. We
understand that visiting the dentist is stressful, and we endeavor
to reduce this stress as much as possible. I believe that long-term
retention of staff is important in order that you can get to know
us, and to know who you are going to see when you come in to the
office.
Reception: Our 3 receptionists are always available to help
you to schedule your treatment in the most efficient way possible,
and to help you navigate through the quagmire of dental insurance.
Their goal is to ensure that there are no surprises during or after
treatment, especially as far as fees are concerned.
Treatment Co-ordination: My treatment co-ordinator has been
with me for my entire career in dentistry (26 years), and generally
knows what I am going to say before I say it. She will help you to
sequence your treatment, to understand the implications of various
treatment choices, to work with your insurance company to maximize
the insurance benefit that you receive, and when appropriate, to
send a letter of introduction to any specialist to whom you might
be referred (usually right in our building).
The Clinical Team:
- Assistants: Our 2 full time dental assistants are highly trained
in the art of assisting in chair side delivery of dental care.
Their goal is to make the actual dentistry
as comfortable as possible for you in addition to helping me do the
dentistry as efficiently and accurately as we can. After all, no
one likes sitting in
the chair any longer than necessary.
- Hygienists: Our 4 experienced hygienists are here to help you
manage the health of the gums and bone around your teeth. We are
committed to the belief that
loss of teeth from gum disease is optional, and they will do all
that they can to ensure that you retain a solid foundation for your
teeth. This includes
of course, the sometimes dreaded scaling, but more importantly
helping you to understand what you can do on your own to maintain
optimal oral
health.
Note: In the spirit of the times in which we live the Staff have
requested that pictures and names not be listed on the Internet. We
will be pleased to share with you more about who we are when we
have the pleasure of meeting you in the office. |
